Scrutineers in Alicante determined that Ericsson3′s keel did not conform to measurement rules. It wasn’t far enough out to disqualify the boat, but it did cost her a penalty of 1 point for each in-port race, one point for each scoring gate, and two points for each ocean leg – so she has lost 4 points so far.
