Vendée Globe – Rich Wilson blogging on Yachtpals

I’m gradually tracking down all the different places where competitors are leaving a trail. Tim is mirroring Jonny Malbon’s Twittering (sorry, I think I’m supposed to call them Tweets) on jonnymalbon.com , and I’ve just discovered a post from Rich Wilson on yachtpals.com .

A while ago, I highlighted the amount of work involved in tacking an Ocean 60, but that was me talking, and I’ve never even seen one close up. If you read Rich’s post, you’ll find out that changing sails can take just as long and be just as much hard work as tacking. And you have to believe him – he’s going to be doing it for three months.
