Skribit

by Mike K-H

I’ve just installed a widget - Skribit - with the intention of giving you, my faithful readers, a chance to see what I’m working on and voting for what you’d most like to see.

I’m still having a bit of trouble with it - for a long time, I couldn’t input any suggestions, and even now it only seems to allow me one suggestion. Presumably it has a limit to the frequency with which one can submit them.

Anyway, while I’m waiting to be allowed to set up things I’ll give you some categories and see if any of you can submit ideas:

  1. I’ve been passionate about sailing since I learned to sail at the age of 8, although I haven’t been active now for many years. My powerboat knowledge is very limited, but I’ll happily write - with or without needing to research - on any boating-related subject, ancient or modern, racing, cruising, or just ‘messing about in boats’.
  2. I use to build design and fly model aircraft - before everyone had radio control.
  3. I live in the middle of France, and have been to many parts of it. I like digging up unusual places and bits of history.
  4. I read a lot about Internet Marketing, but don’t have any successes to boast about. I could, however, write a little bout the things the gurus don’t tell you - which is why it ain’t as simple as it’s made out to be.

By the time I think up some more ideas, perhaps I’ll have worked out how to use Skribit properly…

  1. I’ve removed Skribit. I decided that it wasn’t helping me.
