The next podcast should prove it one way or another. I looked for more expensive headsets, but they just had better earphones (which I don't need) and a volume/mute cotrol in the lead (which I usually end up smashing by treading on it). If moving the mic doesn't fix the problem, I'll look for fancy editing software with graphic equalisers to attenuate the high frequencies.
